Easy Meal Prep for Your Camping Adventures

If you’re a camper or a road tripper, you’ve purchased copious amounts of ice. You’ve experienced the soggy food in the coolers. You’ve embraced the hot dog and burger meals for convenience sake. But what if it could all be a bit simpler? With a little planning ahead, you can enjoy all sorts of non-soggy meals around the camp fire.

Your Summer Reminders

All of this is wonderful. The vacations, extra family time, and getting those projects done around the house. The only concern is that the routines are lost, the heat is overwhelming, and your sleep patterns are thrown off. It can be tempting to want to fully let loose for the summer, but I caution you. If you haven’t experienced it already, your brain is not going to be very happy with you. So, how do you find a balance between summer bliss and brain comfort?

Working Through Grief

Grief is a strange and uncomfortable thing to go through, no matter how familiar it may be. I liken it to a boat in a storm. No matter how seasoned a sailor you are, there’s always a big wave that can rock the boat. We never expect it. No one can. When it hits, it’s all consuming.

Grief Has Struck Our Hearts

Michael and I received some terrible and tragic news on Friday. Our hearts are grieving. Because of this, I won’t be posting this week. I need to take some time to process. Through it all, we have seen the Lord’s hand. “The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Praise the name of Yahweh”. Job 1:21. This doesn’t mean that we aren’t supposed to grieve. But this does mean that our peace, hope, and assurance can be found in Him through it all. Our hope truly is in Him. Please take care. I am praying for you as well this week.Hope in Him,Rachel
