What we cannot see in the present can leave room for doubt and questioning of God’s purpose for us. However, when we can set all of that aside, we can be assured that God is building our character for something great.
It’s time to pause in our quest for children and thank the Lord for our own lives.

The thing that concerns me most for infertile couples is their marriage. The grief, constant waiting, and never-ending longing for a child can wedge a big gap between a husband and wife. My question for you today is this: are you fighting for your marriage?
God instructs us as Christians to live a certain way of life. One that shows love to Him and to others. One way to express that love is by hospitality.
A prayer for those who’ve had a child but are struggling to conceive again.
You’ve gone through the process to see if you have viable eggs and sperm. You’ve done the bloodwork, ultrasounds, and other various tests. IUI is not an option for you, so the doctor will then consider In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).
You’ve been through a lot. The constant waiting and guessing each month are wearing you thin. You don’t know when the testing, questions, and options will end.

Through Declan’s passing, it has led Michael and I to review where we are at in life and marriage. One of the topics that has come up is children again. We began talking about the different fertility options and wondering which one we should consider. Then Michael asked a very important question. “Why do we want to have kids”?
