Where’s Hope Through Hard Times Headed This Year?

I enjoyed looking back with you over what the Lord has done through Hope Through Hard Times the last couple of years. By His grace and faithfulness, we’ve written (along with guest writers) 338 posts! We’ve sold our Comfort Boxes and journals. So, what’s on the horizon for this year?

As I’ve been praying and learning about how to grow this ministry, the Lord continues to grow my passion for discipleship. This was a desire that He planted in my heart while in Bible college, or maybe even in my teenage years. It was a thirst to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus by understanding His word and the love He has for them.

Luke 10:27 says, “He answered, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,” and “your neighbor as yourself.”

 What does it look like to love Yahweh and love others? How do we implement that into our daily lives?

“Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

With the Lord’s love and His mission in mind, how do you and I apply that into our relationships and the things that we do?

These are some of the questions I’ve been asking since He planted that seed years ago. As I continue to seek Him, He’s been giving me ideas of how I can offer these concepts in tangible ways for you. He’s been helping me shape and define where this ministry is going, and as I have from the beginning, I want you to be part of the adventure too. These are some of the things we’ve been working on behind the scenes:

Hope Through Hard Times’ mission statement:

“Discipling people into a deeper relationship with Jesus to keep Him forefront in their daily lives.”

This is the heart and passion behind everything we do. Our website will have things added over the next little while to reflect this. We’ll map out our mission statement, values, and policies so that you can better understand what you’re a part of.

I’m looking forward to sharing more posts with you too, alongside some excellent guest writers. These are all people that love the Lord and live it out in their daily lives. We’ve also got our book, Sustaining Hope, launching in March! Keep following the adventure through our emails, social media, and this blog. We’ll be opening up an opportunity shortly to apply for our book launch team! This will be a fun group with a chance to join me in helping promote the book. You’ll get a free digital copy of the book to read before the launch along with prizes to be won, and maybe even your name added in the book! Keep watch for more information in the next couple of weeks.

Do you like games? We’re in the research and development stage of creating a couple of games that will help you grow in God’s word while having fun! I’m very excited about this and look forward to sharing more about this in the fall.

Lastly, but certainly not least, I’ve paired up with some amazing, God-fearing women to develop a course and program to help women grow in a deeper, stronger relationship with Jesus. We’ll be launching this in 2023!

I ask for your prayers as we work to develop all of these things. I pray for you too, that you will be encouraged, develop a more confident hope in the Lord, and grow deeper with Jesus in all that we share with you.
