Praying for Ukraine

Dear Lord,

Thank You so much for life. It is a precious, miraculous gift. Thank You for the ways that You are working behind the scenes, bringing everything together for Your perfect plans.

“Oh, LORD God! You Yourself made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and with Your outstretched arm. Nothing is too difficult for You!” (1)

“How magnificent are your works, Lord,
how profound your thoughts!
A stupid person does not know,
a fool does not understand this:
though the wicked sprout like grass
and all evildoers flourish,
they will be eternally destroyed.
But you, Lord, are exalted forever.
For indeed, Lord, your enemies—
indeed, your enemies will perish;
all evildoers will be scattered.” (2)

Though we live in a sinful world and evil seems to be winning, thank You that we can look to the end and be reminded that You hold the victory.

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against evil, spiritual forces in the heavens.” (3) So, please help us to look beyond humanity into Your heavens, Lord, and see You sitting on the throne. Help us to hold onto Your Truth and trust that even though, the “righteous has many adversities, … the Lord rescues him from them all.” (4)

Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit, work together and do great signs and wonders for Your children in Ukraine. Protect them, provide for them, and give them “refuge under the shelter of Your wings”

Lord, You are mighty and so much stronger than any enemy that tries to form against us. You have the authority. Everything in heaven and on earth is created by You. You are the only uncreated being, knowing all things and being in all places at once. You know the need of every person in the world. You’re there with everyone in Ukraine and all your children in Russia, Father. Only You can reach every heart. We trust that You will provide help when and where human efforts can’t.

Come Lord and do Your mighty work. May testimonies flow from thousands of mouths declaring Your greatness and giving You glory for the things that You are going to do in this.

We love You. We trust You. And we give all of this to You. “Lord, there is no one like you. You are great; your name is great in power.”
