Don’t Let Your Tank Run Empty

Our gas tank habits can be a very close resemblance to how we manage our bank accounts. We may get to the grocery store with a hope that there is enough in the bank account to cover our purchase. Alternatively, we may know exactly how much is in our bank account at any given moment but we don’t know if we have enough to cover our expenses until the next pay day. Maybe we know we have enough for our regular life but what happens if an emergency arises?

Encounters or Relationships – Part 2

Elisha was a prophet that walked hand-in-hand with the Lord. If God told him to go left, he went left. He listened for the Lord’s voice. This is clearly stated by the Aramean soldier who told the king that Elisha knew what he whispered in his bedroom. Was Elisha a supernatural being? No. He didn’t have any power in himself. The Lord put the words in Elisha’s ears since God is all-knowing. Elisha listened well and was eager to respond. He studied the Scriptures which allowed him to recognize the voice of God. He leaned into Yahweh, giving greater room for the Spirit to work mightily within him. Then when the miraculous encounters took place, it was a natural extension of what Elisha had been experiencing with the Lord already.

Praying for Ukraine

I had another post written for today that some of you may have seen already. However, in light of the things going on in Ukraine, I’ve decided to save that other post for next week and take time to pray for our brothers and sisters abroad.
