Debbie knows all too personally the cost of war. On September 11, 2001, she had a son in the U.S. Navy (Soon to become a Navy Seal at the time), one in the Marines, and another in the Army.Then, on August 2, 2006, she would become a “Gold Star Mom” when her son, Marc Lee, was killed in combat in Iraq.
