Most of Joshua’s life was spent in the Wilderness with Moses and the rebellious Israelites. He started his leadership training as a young man. Moses saw something in him that stood above Aaron and many other leaders that surrounded Moses. What was the difference between Joshua and the other men?
Majority of people are visual learners. We tend to be forgetful when we get caught up in day-to-day life. Even God Himself put a reminder before Him and people to see a rainbow and be reminded of His promise. God has a perfect memory. He hasn’t, nor will He ever, forget that promise. But He still sees the importance of having that sign there.
He was on the run. He was away from everything he knew. He was Hebrew by lineage, Egyptian by adoption, and torn between the two. Now he was away from it all. Everyone and everything familiar was gone. The guilt of the murder was on his hands. What was going to happen next?
